From Tuesday 1 November 2016, you’ll notice a revamped and improved Buildsoft Support experience. This gives our customers the ability to find answers to common support issues faster and easier!
The new “Help Center” will have a more user-friendly and sleek interface, and will allow you to:
- Search the knowledge base for helpful articles that answer our most popular questions
- more modern look and feel will help to make it even easier to for our valued customers to find information about issues they may be experiencing.Customers will be able to ask questions that other customers, or Buildsoft staff members can answer, search the existing knowledge base for information they need to solve a problem, or even create a support ticket to have a member of the support team contact them directly.
Additionally any posts a customer may make in the Help Center will be logged into their activity tracker making it easy to pick up where they left off and view any responses to their posts.
Below are some helpful tips to kick starting your help center experience.

Once there click the support option on the toolbar across the top of the page.

Submitting A Post
So now that you are logged into the Help Center you may wish to post a question you may have about the software, or problem you have been experiencing.
Doing this is easy, all you need to do is browse to the section most appropriate to your question or problem and then click the ‘New Post’ button on the top left hand corner of the page. For example, you may have a question regarding using a new feature in Cubit.
For this you would browse into the Cubit Knowledge Base section, click the ‘New Post’ button, enter your question and then click the Submit button.
Your question has now been posted and others can start replying to your questions to provide assistance. My Activities
You have now posted your question to our Help Center and rewarded yourself with a well deserved cup of tea, but now you wish to come back and see what people have posted in reply to your question.
Finding the post you created again is easy using the My Activities function to view your questions, and if anyone has replied to it.
To open your activities list all you need to do is click the ‘My Activities’ button at the top of the page.
This will open a page displaying any posts you have made, or support tickets you have posted.
You can click on the subject you gave your question to open the post you originally made to read the responses provided by other members of the community or Buildsoft staff.Submitting A Support Ticket
Of course the new Help Center does not mean we have done away with the more personal touch of contacting our support team should the need arise.
You can still submit a support ticket directly from the Help Center by clicking the ‘Submit A Request’ button in the top right hand corner of the page.
From here you can provide a description of the problem you are experiencing along with some other accompanying information such as the product you are using.
Alternatively to this the support team can still be contacted on 02 4626 4909 where you will be able to speak with a member of the support staff about any problems or questions you may be experiencing.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, i sincerely hope you enjoy your experience with the new Help Center and that it helps you on your estimating journey!
